(3). This course deals with child and adolescent health and wellness in school settings. Candidates will be able to describe theoretical foundations of health behavior using the National Health Education Standards, and health literacy skills of an informed consumer by accessing, collecting, and inferring a variety of reliable health related data from comprehensive and coordinated school health programs.
