HPE 416 - Methods of Teaching Health Education |
(3). (Professional) Effective teaching practices, multiple instructional strategies, and implementation of developmentally appropriate health education instruction to accommodate all students are taught in this course. Candidates will learn how to assess needs to determine priorities for school health education, plan and implement effective NHE standards aligned comprehensive school health education curricula through effective instruction and assessment of student learning. Using technology to develop school health programs, advocate for and serve as a resource person in health education.
