FNP 673 - Advanced Family NP Practicum II (210 Clinical Practicum Hours)
(3). Prerequisites: FNP 668, FNP 669, and FNP 671. Corequisite: FNP 672. To progress to this course, all previous coursework counting towards the graduate or doctoral nursing degree must be completed with a grade of "B" or better. The purpose of this course is to prioritize management strategies and apply selected practice models of delivery of care to pediatric, adult, obstetric, and geriatric populations. The focus of this course is to provide the student with opportunities to integrate in-depth diagnostic and management skills to provide care for pediatrics, adult, obstetric, and geriatric populations. The emphasis of this course is on the formulation and management of individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings and current practice models. If one or both of the corequisite courses is not passed, the student must retake all corequisite courses together. Offered summer term only. (210 Clinical Hours)
